Wayne Lukas
is an American horse trainer and a U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee. He has
received the Eclipse Award Outstanding Trainer four times in 1985, 1986, 1987
and 1994. He has had multiple horses win, place or show in the Kentucky Derby,
Preakness and Belmont Stakes. He also had 20 Breeders Cup wins.
Grover "Bud" Delp
was a Hall of Fame Thoroughbred Race Trainer and Eclipse Award Outstanding
Trainer in 1980. Buddy had won 3,674 races earning nearly $41 million. He said
he was most proud of being inducted into the United States National Museum of
Racing and Hall of Fame. He won both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes
with Spectacular Bid, he was 3rd in the Belmont Stakes.
John Veitch
was a Hall of Fame Thoroughbred Race Trainer. Born in a race family he began as
an assistant for his Hall of Fame trainer father Sylvester Veitch. His horse Proud
Truth won the Breeders Cup Classic in 1985. He was also known for running 2nd
in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes with Alydar.
